We only collect what you send us through our forms, what our team enters into our internal ERP, and the technical data that our games' advertising and platform partners process. We do not sell personal data. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data at any time by writing to info@rigidlgc.com.
Part 1 · Privacy Policy
01Who we are
Rigid Logic ("Rigid Logic", "we", "us") is a software studio based in Türkiye that develops games, applications, VR/AR experiences and automation systems. For the personal data described in this policy, Rigid Logic is the data controller under the Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK") and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"). You can reach us at info@rigidlgc.com.
This policy covers rigidlgc.com and its pages (the "Website"), the contact and job application forms, our internal staff system at rigidlgc.com/erp (the "ERP"), the Quakely web app, and our games and apps published on Google Play (together, the "Services").
02Contact form
When you write to us through the contact form we receive your name, email address, company (optional), subject and message, the time you sent it, and a note that you accepted this policy. We use this information only to read and answer your message and to keep a record of our correspondence.
Your message is delivered to our inbox by EmailJS, an email delivery service. The human check next to the form runs in your browser, and its result is not stored.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering inquiries (KVKK Art. 5(2)(c) and (f); GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
03Job applications
When you apply through the application form we receive the position you apply for, your full name and email address, your phone number and location if you give them, your years of experience, the links you share (CV, portfolio, LinkedIn and others), your technical skills, your cover letter, and a note that you accepted this policy.
We use this information to evaluate your application, to contact you about it and, if you are hired, to start the employment process. Only the people involved in hiring see it. Applications are delivered to our inbox by EmailJS. The documents behind the links you share stay with the service that hosts them, such as a cloud storage service, so make sure those links show only what you want us to see.
Please do not include sensitive personal data, such as health information, religious or political beliefs, union membership or criminal records, in your application. We do not ask for it and do not need it.
Legal basis: steps taken before a possible employment contract, and our legitimate interest in recruiting (KVKK Art. 5(2)(c) and (f); GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
04Internal ERP (staff only)
The ERP is used only by Rigid Logic team members and collaborators we invite. It stores your username, display name and role, the tasks assigned to you with their status, priority and due dates, calendar events and their approval status, and messages exchanged between team members. Sign-in is handled by Firebase Authentication and the data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore. Your language and theme choices are saved in your browser.
We use this data to organise our daily work. Administrators can see the workspace's tasks, calendar events and member list. Our providers log sign-ins and access for security.
Legal basis: performance of the employment or service contract, and our legitimate interest in organising our work (KVKK Art. 5(2)(c) and (f); GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
05Games and apps
Our games do not ask you to create an account or to enter personal data.
Some of our games show ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier, IP address, device model, operating system and how you interact with ads, in order to show, measure and, where you allow it, personalise ads. Google handles this data under its own policies; see how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Our games are built with Unity and distributed through Google Play. These platforms may collect technical data such as crash reports, performance data and device information under their own privacy policies. Game progress and settings are stored on your device.
You can reset your advertising ID or turn off personalised ads in your device settings. On Android, open Settings, then Google, then Ads. Uninstalling a game removes the data it stored on your device.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in funding free games through advertising, and your consent where the law requires it (KVKK Art. 5(1) and 5(2)(f); GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and (f)).
06Quakely web app
Quakely runs in your browser. It may save settings and progress in your browser's storage so you can continue where you left off. That information stays on your device and is not sent to us. Unity, the engine Quakely is built with, may collect basic technical data as described in its privacy policy.
07When you visit the website
The Website does not use analytics or advertising tools, and we do not build visitor profiles. When your browser loads a page, technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page you requested is processed by the services that deliver its parts:
- GitHub Pages, which hosts the Website and may log IP addresses for security and abuse prevention;
- Google Fonts, for our typefaces, and Google Play's image servers, for game icons;
- cdnjs and jsDelivr, which deliver JavaScript libraries.
These providers process this data under their own privacy policies.
08Cookies and local storage
The Website does not set cookies of its own. The ERP keeps your sign-in session and your language and theme choices in your browser's local storage. Quakely may store data in your browser as described above. Sites you open from our pages, such as Google Play or LinkedIn, may set their own cookies. You can delete this data at any time in your browser settings.
09Who we share data with
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Services, and only as much as they need:
- EmailJS delivers contact messages and applications to our inbox;
- Google provides ERP sign-in and storage (Firebase and Google Cloud), fonts, game distribution (Google Play) and in-game ads (AdMob);
- GitHub hosts the Website;
- Unity Technologies provides our game engine services;
- our email provider stores the emails you send us.
We may also disclose information when the law, a court or an authorised public body requires it, or when it is necessary to protect our rights, our users or the public.
10Transfers outside Türkiye
Some of these providers store or process data on servers outside Türkiye, mainly in the European Union and the United States. We make these transfers in line with Article 9 of KVKK and, where it applies, Chapter V of the GDPR. We rely on the safeguards these providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses, and on your explicit consent where the law requires it. Our forms ask you to confirm this before you send them.
11How long we keep data
- Contact messages: up to 2 years after our last exchange, unless we need them longer for a contract or a legal claim.
- Job applications: up to 1 year after we decide on the position. If you ask us to consider you for future openings, we keep your application for up to 2 years. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
- ERP data: while you are part of the team, then for the periods the law requires, for example for employment and tax records. We remove accounts that are no longer needed.
- Data held by our partners: according to their own retention policies.
When a retention period ends, we delete, destroy or anonymise the data.
12Security
We protect personal data with reasonable technical and organisational measures: the ERP requires a personal account, data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and only authorised people can read applications and messages. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects you, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
13Your rights
Under Article 11 of KVKK, and under the GDPR where it applies, you have the right to:
- learn whether we process your personal data and request information about it;
- learn why we process it and whether we use it for that purpose;
- know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad that receive it;
- ask us to correct incomplete or inaccurate data;
- ask us to delete or destroy your data;
- ask us to pass corrections and deletions on to the third parties that received the data;
- object to a result against you that comes only from automated analysis;
- claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing;
- under the GDPR, also receive your data in a portable format, restrict its processing, and withdraw your consent at any time.
To use these rights, email info@rigidlgc.com from the address you used with us, or tell us how we can confirm your identity. We answer within 30 days. Requests are free of charge unless they cause significant extra cost, in which case we may charge the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority or, if you are in the EU, to your local data protection authority.
14Children
Our forms and the ERP are not meant for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children through them. Our games are available to a general audience on Google Play, but we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13, or under the minimum age set in their country. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
15Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our Services or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. If a change significantly affects how we use your data, we will make it clearly visible on the Website.
Part 2 · Terms of Use
16Acceptance
By using the Services you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy above. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
17Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in a way that harms Rigid Logic or others;
- send spam, malware or automated or bulk submissions through our forms, or try to get around the human check;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the Website, the ERP, our accounts or our systems, or interfere with their security or operation;
- copy, scrape, decompile, reverse engineer or resell our content, games or code, except where the law expressly allows it;
- impersonate another person, or give false information in a message or application.
We may block access, keep records and take legal action if these terms are broken.
18Intellectual property
The Website, our games and apps, and everything in them, including code, graphics, characters, music, sound effects, text, logos and the names Rigid Logic, Major Vehicle Heist, ZigZag Superheroes, Bucket Out, Astronaut Pipes Lines, Zombie Radio and Quakely, belong to Rigid Logic or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
Downloading or playing a game gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it; it does not transfer ownership. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially use our content without our written permission. Third-party trademarks, such as Google Play and Unity, belong to their owners.
19Your messages and ideas
Messages, ideas, proposals and other material you send us are not confidential unless we agree otherwise in a signed written agreement. Sending us an idea does not create any obligation for us. We may already be working on similar ideas, and we remain free to develop projects that resemble ideas we receive, without any duty to pay or credit you. You confirm that what you send us does not infringe anyone else's rights.
20Job applications
Sending an application does not create an employment relationship or any obligation to hire. Positions may change, be filled or be withdrawn at any time without notice. You confirm that the information and links you send are accurate and that you have the right to share them, and you agree that we may verify them.
Rigid Logic never charges applicants a fee. If someone asks you for money in our name, do not pay and report it to info@rigidlgc.com.
21Quakely and safety information
Quakely and any safety guidance we publish are general information for awareness and preparation. They do not replace official guidance from AFAD, local authorities or emergency services, or a professional structural assessment of your building. Every building and situation is different, and no app can guarantee your safety. Always follow official instructions during an emergency.
To the extent the law allows, Rigid Logic is not liable for any injury, loss or damage that results from relying on Quakely or our safety content.
22Games and apps
Our games and apps are provided for entertainment. Their content, features and availability may change, and we may stop offering a game at any time. Downloads, updates and any purchases are also governed by the Google Play Terms of Service. Ads in our games come from third parties; we do not control their content and are not responsible for the products or sites they promote. Driving, action and other in-game activities are fiction and must not be imitated in real life. Play responsibly and take regular breaks.
23ERP access
The ERP is a private system for authorised people only. Accounts are personal: keep your password secret and do not share your account. Do not access, or try to access, accounts or data you are not authorised to see. Unauthorised access to an information system may be a criminal offence under Turkish law, and we will report it.
We may suspend or remove accounts, and activity in the ERP may be logged for security. Information in the ERP is confidential and may only be used for Rigid Logic's work, during and after your time with us.
24Third-party sites and services
The Services link to and rely on third-party sites and services such as Google Play, LinkedIn, EmailJS and Firebase. We are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices, and their own terms apply when you use them.
25No warranties
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including about accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or freedom from errors, viruses or interruptions.
26Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, Rigid Logic and its founders, employees and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damage, or for loss of data, profit, revenue or goodwill, that arises from or relates to the Services, even if we were told such damage was possible. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant Service in the 12 months before the claim, if any.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including Article 115 of the Turkish Code of Obligations.
27Indemnity
You agree to compensate Rigid Logic for any claims, losses and reasonable legal costs that result from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the Services, or your violation of anyone else's rights.
28Changes and availability
We may change, suspend or stop any part of the Services at any time, for maintenance, updates or other reasons, without notice. We may also update these terms; the version on this page applies from its "Last updated" date. If you keep using the Services after a change, you accept the updated terms.
29Force majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as earthquakes and other natural disasters, fires, power or internet outages, failures of third-party providers, cyberattacks, strikes, epidemics or acts of government.
30Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and this policy are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the mandatory protections the law gives you, including your right to apply to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts.
31General
If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a right, we have not waived it. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services. If a translation of this page differs from this English version, the English version prevails.
